About Revenant Wings
If you thought the fight in Ivalice was over, you were wrong. One year after the events of Final Fantasy XII, Vaan finally becomes a sky pirate, complete with a ship and crew, including his best friend, Penelo. However, Vaan soon finds out that being a sky pirate isn't all that easy and the title comes with the reputation of a villian, at least to the winged Aegyl race. So-called sky pirates are stealing the treasures of the Aegyl's home-land: auracite, which gives the possessor the ability to summon monsters. Now, Vaan and his friends must fend off the sky pirates in the sky continent of Lemures so the Aegyl can live happily once again, but it is not going to be easy, especially with the notorious Judge of Wings around...
Revenant Wings is played entirely with the stylus of the Nintendo DS. The battle system is a bit more difficult for those who like turn-based systems because RW is entirely real-time, meaning there's not much time to think about the next move. Gambits still exist in RW, however they are a little different from the ones found in FFXII. You can only use one gambit at a time.
